Connections is designed for athletes and families who are seriously considering whether a different sporting and academic environment could better support the athlete's goals. FORCE 1 currently focuses on international high-school basketball and sports development opportunities for athletes with approximately 1 to 4 years remaining before high-school graduation.

Step1: UNDERSTAND
We learn about the athlete, their sporting experience, academic situation, goals and what they are looking for.
Step 2: IDENTIFY
FORCE 1 considers potentially relevant academies and development programs within its international network.
Step 3: CONNECT
Once a suitable opportunity has been identified, the family is informed of the opportunity and the applicable FORCE 1 Connections fee. Upon payment, FORCE 1 facilitates the introduction to the selected organization.
Step 4: DECIDE
The athlete and family speak directly with the organization, understand the program and decide whether it is the right fit.

Every athlete is different. The right environment depends on their goals, development, education, age and long-term plans.
Depending on the athlete and available opportunities within the FORCE 1 network, Connections may involve:
BASKETBALL ACADEMIES
Development environments for athletes pursuing education and basketball at a higher level.
OTHER SPORTS ACADEMIES
Programs where athletes can continue their education while developing in their selected sport.
INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENTS
Opportunities to experience a different sporting, academic and cultural environment.
FORCE 1 Connections is a private, paid service.
There is no fee to submit an initial inquiry or speak with FORCE 1 about your needs.
If FORCE 1 identifies a suitable academy or development opportunity and the family wishes to proceed with an introduction, the applicable Connections service fee is payable before the first introduction is made.
Academy or school tuition, boarding, travel and other associated costs are separate and are paid directly to the relevant organization.
Connections does not provide scholarships or funded placements.
Tell us about the athlete, their basketball experience, academic situation and what they are looking for. FORCE 1 will review the information and determine whether Connections may be appropriate.
A Connections enquiry does not guarantee an introduction, acceptance or placement with any academy or organization.
