FORCE 1 is a premium youth and athlete development organization creating high-quality programs and experiences for young people and for serious young athletes.
No. FORCE 1 is not an academy.
We create and deliver youth programs, basketball development experiences, talent identification opportunities, Showcases and individualized Connections services. We also work with selected academies, schools and organizations to create further opportunities for athletes.

Our Youth programs generally serve children ages 3–13, while our Athlete programs are designed for serious young basketball players, generally 10–18. Specific age requirements vary by program.

Our Holiday Camps are recreational, multi-activity programs. Depending on the location and camp, activities may include sports, robotics, dance, art, cooking and other creative or educational experiences.

This depends on the school and program. Activities may combine sport, recreation, creative activities, skills development and life lessons.

While T.I.D. Camps are specifically designed for talent identification and evaluation, Signature Camps can also provide opportunities for FORCE 1 to identify athletes who demonstrate the ability, competitiveness and readiness for Showcase opportunities.

Showcases provide scholarship opportunities, but individual scholarship decisions are made by the relevant participating organizations.

FORCE 1 Connections is an individualized sport and academics advisory and connection service. We help athletes and families identify and explore selected international basketball academy and development opportunities that may align with the athlete's basketball, education and long-term goals.

Connections is an independent service and athletes can access it without participating in another FORCE 1 program.

FORCE 1 helps identify and facilitate relevant opportunities, but the receiving academy or organization makes its own admission decisions.

FORCE 1's Connections service and any academy, school, accommodation, travel or other associated costs are separate.
UNDERSTAND → IDENTIFY → CONNECT → DECIDE
FORCE 1 learns about the athlete and family's goals, identifies potentially relevant opportunities, facilitates an appropriate introduction and allows the family and organization to determine whether the opportunity is the right fit.
Safety is one of the five FORCE 1 standards. Programs are designed around appropriate supervision, structured activities, participant wellbeing and responsible program delivery.
Safety comes first. If lightning or heavy rain is expected, all outdoor activities are moved indoors, where possible, until it’s safe to resume outdoor activities. Otherwise programs are rescheduled or cancelled.
We take the heat seriously:
FORCE 1 is a peanut and tree nut–free environment. Families of children with life-threatening allergies can feel confident in our safety procedures.
Each morning, campers with allergies are identified with a red wristband. Their EpiPen or other medication is stored securely in our monitored First Aid pack or with their counselor.
Please send medications in a clear labeled bag on the first day of camp. Medications remain securely stored on-site for the week and are returned on Friday.
Yes. Participants must be at least 4 years old and fully potty-trained (able to use the toilet independently). We understand accidents happen; please pack an extra set of clothes just in case.
If an accident occurs, our staff will assist your child discreetly and notify you at pickup.
Participants should arrive ready for active play, sportswear, sneakers, and sunscreen applied before drop-off. Please pack a labeled water bottle, towel, swimsuit, lunch, and change of clothes if swimming is involved. Leave toys, electronics, and valuables at home so kids can focus on fun and connection.
This depends on the program.
Youth Programs
For Youth programs, children should bring their own nut-free lunch, snacks and refillable water bottle each day. Refrigeration and microwaves may not be available, so please pack food that can be safely kept without refrigeration.
Athlete Programs
Lunch and snacks are provided for T.I.D. Camps and Showcases, unless otherwise stated in the specific event information. Participants should bring a refillable water bottle each day.
Signature Camps
Food arrangements vary by camp and location and will be clearly communicated during registration.
Yes.
Optional supervised before care (07:30–09:00) and after care (15:00–17:00) are available during some of our programs for families who need extended drop-off and pick-up times. This is a quiet, supervised period. Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance.
Refund and cancellation policies may vary by program and location. The applicable terms are provided during registration and apply to the specific program you are booking.
Programs delivered with local partners may be subject to the partner's registration, payment and cancellation terms. Please review the terms provided when registering.

Credits can be used toward any future FORCE 1 program that is not waitlisted. Please note that all credits are non-refundable.
